Eleemosynary , a 1985 one-act play by Lee Blessing that follows the relationships between three generations of women. The word “eleemosynary” itself plays a significant part in the plot.

The characters are – Dorothea (Susan Thoms) -An old woman who chose to be eccentric. Artemis (Artie) (Dana Applegate) -Dorothea’s daughter. Holds an important job as a biochemist. Has an incredible memory. Echo- (Amber Sherrard) Artie’s daughter. Lives with Dorothea. Is an excellent speller, in addition to having extraordinary intellectual abilities.

PANAMA TRASH RECEPTICLE

I am fascinated by the ingenuity of personal trash receptacles here in Panama. I have made several previous postings with many different ones. Today on my walk I saw  this one which caught my eye. I wonder if the owner rides his trash to the dump?

I did make it to town on Saturday.

Internet and/or WordPress been very sporadic today. I will continue to attempt and post rest of pictures as soon as possible. It is now 6:30 and I have completed posting.

HUMING BIRDS AT LARGE

Remember I just got the idea of making this post on humming birds. I am not familiar enough to take excellent pictures. I just snapped away and this is what I got. I will do study.As I said I am fascinated by them. This one is moving to fast.

NO SUCH LUCK

Hoping to make it to town today just did not happen. Tomorrow though is a must, so I will attempt then for photos of the Park.

Instead I spent several hours watching our humming birds. I do not remember if I may have made a small post previously.These photos were taken this morning and afternoon.

I am being very bad in thinking of just posting the feeders tonight and the birds tomorrow. I still have not made up my mind.

Here goes.

BROTHERS

This is Senor Martin and his brother Roberto. The meat market their father started in 1902 is closed today so they are relaxing. They are open on Monday and Thursday’s for the neighborhood.

I asked to take this lady’s picture. She said ok. I walked away and she stared at me wondering. I turned and snapped and look at this expression. I did walk back and explained and showed her the picture.
