ANOTHER CHEF IN THE MAKING

Jessica wanted to know what and how banana Foster was made. She asked if I would watch her make some. Here she is simmering the bananas in butter and brown sugar. She is using  a touch of lemon.

I like to visit grandma because Jerry allows me to practice cooking. He has everything I may need for whatever I want to make. Cool. Today I am making miniature pita pizzas.

HERE AND GONE

Senora Haydee asked me if I would try her version and presentation of fried Mozzarella. I was more than happy to accommodate. The picture is out of focus unfortunately. The presentation is great. The taste was superb. The pastry crust was made out of bread, softened with milk, lightly coated in flour and dipped in an egg-wash. The cheese was seasoned with jalapenos. Delicious. 5 star rating.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

Care  for a sweet right about now? Fresh Strawberries, home made shortcake and just whipped cream. Yum. A treat this morning for sure. Fresh brewed Panamaian Mountain coffee to compliment?  Does not get much better  than this. Yes it does. The sun is shinning, our humming birds are battling it out over the feeders and the birds are singing.
